Cupping as a gout treatment
Cupping is an effective treatment to address inflammation and edema (it helps to open the lymphatic system), making it an efficient gout treatment.
It is effective in "mobilizing" uric acid so that it can be removed from the body.
There is no proof that uric acid is "sucked out" of the body by cupping, this is a false expectation to have, but it certainly makes uric acid mobile and tackles uric acid precipitates, making it a valid evacuation treatment.
Around gout affected areas, there is bad blood circulation. The blood becomes more viscous and dark (Stagnant).
Cupping increases the blood flow, evacuate the stagnant blood and tackles inflammation.
